Greetings!
You all have been incredible in supporting Vanguard V at VanguardV.com . I’m speechless over all the love this demo has received. I will be posting updates on Vanguard V’s progress on the site to show how your support is driving the game forward.
Its been crazy busy. On top of all the travel I also was working with Samsung to have a demo ready for the Samsung Gear VR announcement in Berlin, Germany. Proton Pulse made an appearance as one of the playable demos available for the press at the event! Proton Pulse will be launching with the Samsung Gear VR at launch.
Sun Shafts!

I sat down with fellow VR peeps to discuss what development on the Gear VR is like
Vanguard V at PAX
Part of being an indie is getting the word out about your projects. I’ve been to SIGGRAPH, Unite, and PAX. I had the opportunity to showcase Vanguard V at two venues during PAX.
Here is how it went:
I will be in Hollywood September 19-20th for Oculus Connect and I will be in Seattle for a VR event on October 1st. If you’re attending Oculus Connect or in the Seattle area, come check out the demo.
Store Updates
Store items on VanguardV.com are nearly ready for shipment. You can see how far the quality level has risen!
Game Development is fun!
I’ve also been releasing videos of development as it happens on the Patreon site. There you can have a front row seat into Vanguard V’s development. Watch as new assets come in, as I work in Unity to get things online, and see what game development is like. You can even become a subscriber and pledge support for the project.
The Forum is live!
The forum is the place where you can interact with the developers of Vanguard V, check out test builds, and chat with your fellow VR gamers.
New Builds!
The Vanguard V forums contain links to the latest builds of the demo. Get test builds before they’re publicly released and post your feedback. Everyone will have access to any updates in the first level demo. Alpha Testers will have a chance to check other portions of the game once they become available. Exciting!
I’m also very happy to announce that I now have DK2 Support in Vanguard V for Mac! Grab the link in the forums. This was a huge undertaking, but now it runs buttery smooth. Includes upgraded visuals too! There is an updated Windows version as well with graphic upgrades, system compatibility fixes, and Oculus 0.4.2 runtime support.
